Prince William Ice Center

As most in the hockey community know, the Prince William Ice Center was unfortunately the victim of the heavy snow that hit the Prince William area in the winter of 2009/2010. The rink’s roof collapsed, fortunately no one was injured. You can read more about the incident here. The rink owners have said they will reopen as soon as possible, but the rink will be entirely rebuilt. The rink itself was formerly a part of the Skatequest family of rinks, but became its own entity in 2007 (we believe, please correct us if we’re wrong. The rink was home to 2 sheets of ice, one NHL and one Olympic. We here at SuckerPuck wish them the best, and hope to see them up and running again soon.
